Marian Elizabeth Gibbany (Meg) passed away October 25, 2016 after a sudden illness.
Marian was born to Carl Edwin and Velma Elizabeth Gibbany on November 28, 1941 in Roswell, New Mexico.
Meg began her early career as a legal secretary for the Sanders, Bruin, Coll and Baldock law firm.
She later worked at [auth] N.M.M.I. Headquarters, and for the law firm of Atwood, Malone and Mann.
Meg then was honored to be administrative assistant to Judge Steve Bell until her retirement in 2015.
She was an amazing listener to anyone who needed someone trustworthy to talk to.
Meg loved reading, music and baseball. She also had a passion for needlework. Her art will be treasured by the family and friends with whom she shared it with.
Marian is survived by a son, Brian Smith of Ohio and daughter Margaret Ledinski of Texas.
Sisters include Marcia Caldwell of California, Judith Parham (Chuck) of Roswell, Kathy Murray (Joe) of Amarillo, Texas, brother Jim Gibbany (Irene) of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Also surviving are her nieces and nephews who loved her dearly, and her friend Roberta Hall who was like a sister to Meg.
