October 24, 2015 • Dining Guide

Miguel and Noelia Saens moved to the United States from Mexico 15 years ago, and are truly living the American dream.

You won’t find a harder working, more dedicated couple than the Saens family.

Their efforts show at Mi Casita Restaurant, at 305 South Main. It’s a beautifully cared for building just south of Alameda, on Main street.

The food [auth] is rich, delicious, filling and the flavor is definitely their own. Miguel and Noelia know how to make you want to come back again and again.

I’ll let them tell their story now.“

“Several years ago, when we moved to this country from our country of origin, Mexico, we started working at a Mexican restaurant; we loved the food, and the interaction with the guests.
This gave us the experience that we needed to start our own business. We started Mi Casita Restaurant, on December 3, 2013. We had lived in Roswell, New Mexico for 12 years before this opportunity became available to us, and we made many friends along the way.
Our family was a big help to us when we decided to start this business, we have family members who already own restaurants and they were able to help us when we started Mi Casita.
Now, thanks to all our hard work, and the help of our friends and family, we are proud to serve our delicious food, which we make fresh daily.
Each dish is prepared to order, with ingredients which make our own original flavor. Menudo is served daily, and we serve breakfast and lunch at any time.”
