Traffic stop leads to arrest

The Roswell Police Department performed a traffic stop on Albuquerque Street near the Stanton Avenue intersection at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Jose O Talamantes, 37, of Roswell was arrested on charges of failure to appear and obscuring an officer.

 

Dinner party theft

Police responded to a call of larceny at the Albertson’s supermarket on South Main Street at 6:46 p.m. Sunday, where a shopping cart with food and other items was stolen.

 

Stolen bicycle

Police responded to a call of larceny on the 400 block of South Pine Avenue at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, where a Mongoose bicycle worth $95 was stolen, according to police.

 

Where’s my phone?

Police responded to a larceny call at the 2500 block of West Second Street at 1:42 p.m. on Sunday where a $250 Samsung Galaxy S4 and a $50 Otter box were stolen, according to police.
