The Roswell Police Department performed a traffic stop on Albuquerque Street near the Stanton Avenue intersection at 8 p.m. on Sunday. Jose O Talamantes, 37, of Roswell was arrested on charges of failure to appear and obscuring an officer.

 

Dinner party theft

Police responded to a call of larceny at the Albertson’s supermarket on South Main Street at 6:46 p.m. Sunday, where a shopping cart with food and other items was stolen.

 

Stolen bicycle

Police responded to a call of larceny on the 400 block of South Pine Avenue at 7:35 p.m. on Sunday, where a Mongoose bicycle worth $95 was [auth] stolen, according to police.

 

Where’s my phone?

Police responded to a larceny call at the 2500 block of West Second Street at 1:42 p.m. on Sunday where a $250 Samsung Galaxy S4 and a $50 Otter box were stolen, according to police.

 

Burglars steal computer, jewelry

Police responded to a forced entry burglary at the 2300 block of North Sherman Avenue at 5:39 p.m. on Sunday where two DVD players, an $800 computer desk top set, razors, pick key, small screwdriver, sunglasses, a $300 purse and $1,000 worth of jewelry were stolen, according to police.

 

Car left and broken

Police responded to a call for criminal damages at 2500 North Kentucky Street at 4:29 on Sunday, where a 2006 Dodge caravan was found with two broken windows and was illegally parked. The vehicle was towed and the owner called.

 

 

Gunshots reveal drug bust

Police responded to a call of gunshots being fired in the 600 block of South Wyoming Avenue, at 2 a.m. Sunday, where Audrey D. Johnson, 18, of Roswell, was arrested on a charge of possession of marijuana. Police also found narcotics, live ammunition and a smoking pipe at the residence.

 

Police bust on marijuana possession

Police arrested Jacoby Joseph Mckinney, 20, of Artesia on a charge of possession of marijuana at 1:18 a.m. Sunday.

 

Stolen chairs

Police responded to a larceny call at the 100 block of Holly Loop at 11:44 a.m. Sunday, where two green wrought iron chairs priced at $80 were stolen according to police.

 

Mental patient at the park

Police responded to a call of a mental patient at Cahoon Park at 6:50 p.m. Saturday.

 

Who stole the beer?

Police responded to a larceny call at Albertson’s at 3:57 p.m. on Saturday, where Budweiser beer was stolen. The suspect got away in a green 1997 Chevy.

 

Stolen lawn mower and air compressor

Police responded to a larceny call on the 700 block of West Matthews Street at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, where a $150 lawn mower and a $150 air compressor were stolen, according to police.

 

Arrest on charge of possession of drugs

Police performed a traffic stop at 600 South Garden Avenue and East Bland Street at 5:52 Saturday where Rachael Moreno, 24, of Roswell was arrested for possession of paraphernalia.

 

Traffic stop on a drunk driver

Police performed a traffic stop at the 700 block of North Washington Avenue at 4:06 a.m. Saturday, where Isac Christopher Montes, 31, of Roswell, was arrested on a charge of driving while under the influence. Officers also found a green smoking device.

 

Drug bust

Police arrested Mark Anthony Villegas, 24, of Roswell, at the 300 block of South Kansas Avenue at 1:21 a.m. Saturday on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

Traffic stop renders an unusable license

Police performed a traffic stop on East Second Street at 11:56 p.m. Friday, where Steve R. Carroll, 50, of Roswell, was arrested on a charge of unlawful use of license.

 

Arrested on paraphernalia charges

Police arrested Rachel E. Dominguez, 43, of Roswell, on the 200 block of East McGaffey at 11:45 p.m. Friday, for possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police responded to a larceny call at Wal-Mart at 7:51 p.m. Friday where two pairs of pants where stolen according to police.

 

You can’t run from the law

Police arrested Raymundo Lopez Salcido Jr., 40, of Roswell, at 6:03 p.m. on Friday on a charge of elude or attempting to elude an officer.

 

Cops arrest on a drug bust

Police arrested Dominique Royale Williams, 20, of Roswell, on the 600 block of West Second Street at 5:30 Friday on a charge of possession of marijuana.

Police respond to a gas skips at Allsup’s at 3:30 p.m. and 10:30 a.m. on Friday.

 

Car theft at Title Cash

Police responded to a call of unlawful taking of a motor vehicle at Title Cash at 9:34 a.m. Friday.
