Burglar attempts break-in with sledgehammer

The Roswell Police Department responded to a burglary in the 500 block of Twin Diamond Drive [auth] at 2:14 a.m. Tuesday. The suspect attempted to break in using a sledgehammer.


Burglars take the iPod and the identity

Police responded to a call of a vehicle being burglarized at the north Walgreens at 3:12 p.m. on Monday. No parts were taken, however, the suspect managed to escape with a $400 iPod along with the victim’s driver’s license and Social Security card. The vehicle received $250 worth of damage.


Phone goes MIA

Police responded to a larceny call in the 500 block of South Lea Avenue at 6:58 p.m. on Monday, where a $230 cell phone was stolen, according to police.


Soda thief

Police responded to a larceny call at the North Dollar General at 8:54 a.m. on Monday where the suspect stole cases of Sunkist and Coca-Cola. The suspect was caught on camera.


Cops move abandoned vehicle

Police responded to a call of an abandoned vehicle at the intersection of West Pine Lodge Road and North Main Street at 12:47 a.m. Monday, where the vehicle was abandoned in the middle of Pine Lodge Road.
