Sensible gun laws in this country

August 9, 2014 • Dear Editor

Dear editor,
As you now, Jim Brady was wounded when the attempt was made on the life of President Reagan. He made it his life’s work to bring about [auth] sensible gun laws in this country.
I believe it is our duty as responsible citizens to do everything we can to get these sensible laws enacted to protect those of us who do not resort to guns, and our most vulnerable ones. We should insist that Congress do its job and pass these laws to finish what Jim Brady started, namely:
1. background checks on ALL gun sales, including swap meets
2. NO online sales of guns, ever.
