Albuquerque woman arrested for stabbing boyfriend

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) Police in Albuquerque have arrested a woman who allegedly stabbed her boyfriend after accusing him of having an affair.

Police spokesman Tanner Tixier (Te-SHAY’) says Lucy Kowalchuk was booked Saturday on one [auth] count each of aggravated battery against a household member with a deadly weapon and domestic violence.

According to a criminal complaint, officers found the victim in the middle of the street around 1:45 a.m. with stab wounds to his head, arms and back.

The victim told police that Kowalchuk accused him of having an affair with her 22-year-old daughter and then stabbed and bit him.

Police searched the area and found the suspect in a neighbor’s storage shed.

It was not known if Kowalchuk had an attorney.

Police say she also has other aliases including Lucy Juanita Aragon.
