Frances C. Biggers-Hayes was born to Marvin Hutchins and Dorothy Wilhite in Mexico, Mo., August 16, 1938. She lived in Roswell for many years working in homes caring for the elderly. She indeed was a caring person! She retired from Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in the Dietary Department in 2000, moved to KC, Mo., where she and Curtis were married, [auth] they were a very happy couple as most of her friends said.
She will greatly be missed by her husband, Rev. Curtis L. Hayes, formerly of Roswell and now residing in Albuquerque, NM, who is a retired pastor of the New Mexico Annual Conference in the United Methodist Church.
They joined Tabernacle Baptist Church and were faithful in their membership until illness became an issue. She leaves to cherish and rejoice in her home-going all of her relatives and friends. Sisters LeAntha “Snookie” Johnson of Miramona, Calif., Lillian Brown & Minnie Rollins of Des Moines, IA, and son James Meyers of Colorado Springs, Colo. Acknowledging special thanks to sister-in-law Helen Biggers of Denver, Colo., longtime friends Betty Pittman and Esther Gibbs of Roswell, NM, and co-workers Linda Delgado, Cindy Medrano, Mary Hickman, and Joyce Rivera of Roswell, NM.
I won’t be far away, for Life Still Goes On and On Throughout Eternity. I’ll greet you one day with my smiling face.
