Los Lunas police seek suspect in drive-by shooting

LOS LUNAS, N.M. (AP) — Police in Los Lunas are investigating the death of a man killed in a drive-by shooting.

Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting victim early Sunday.

Authorities say 21-year-old [auth] Charles Davlin and those he was with got into an altercation at an Allsup’s convenience store with another group.

The victims say the group followed them as they drove. Their vehicle was then allegedly hit by the other group’s vehicle and someone in that car fired several gunshots.

Police say the victims continued driving and didn’t realize Davlin, who was a passenger, was injured until moments later.

The suspects are described as two males and two females. All are Hispanic and between 18 and 25 years old. They were seen in a tan or sand Chevrolet or Ford SUV.
