Taillight stop results in arrest

Roswell Police arrested a man for possession of marijuana on Friday after a traffic stop. Griffin A. Crocker, 40, of Roswell was arrested after police stopped his vehicle in the 300 block of South Montana Avenue just after midnight on Friday morning.
According to the police report, Crocker had 7.8 grams of marijuana in his possession. The traffic stop was due to a non-functioning brake light.

Woman arrested for disorderly conduct
Police arrested a woman on the 300 block of East Reed Street for disorderly conduct on the Fourth of July.
Roswell Police responded to an incident report around 4 p.m. on Friday, and arrested Melanie Ann Atkinson, 29, of Roswell, on a charge of disorderly conduct. Police seized a red pocket knife, an empty syringe and an empty plastic Batman baggie from Atkinson, according to the report.

Domestic call results in arrest
A Roswell man was arrested on a battery charge member on Friday on the 3000 block of South Louisiana Avenue.
Roswell Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at about midnight on July 4. Arrested was Brandon Berg, 29, in connection with a charge of battery against a household member.

Copper pipes reported stolen
Roswell Police responded to a burglary on the 300 block of East Reed Street at about 1 p.m. on Saturday. According to the report, thieves stole $150 worth of copper pipes and two backpacks valued at $60.

Disturbance call results in drug arrest
A Roswell man was arrested on Saturday after police responded to a domestic disturbance report. Matheau Isaacs, 23, no address given, was arrested by Roswell Police in connection with a charge of possession of marijuana at about midnight on Saturday morning in the 1800 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue.
According to the police report, Isaacs was in possession of a 6.7 gram marijuana cigarette, $3, a glass smoking device and a lighter.

Man arrested on outstanding warrants
Early Saturday morning Roswell Police arrested a man in the 2500 block of West Second Street on outstanding warrants following a traffic stop.
Rickey Eugene Riley, 28, of Roswell was arrested in connection with charges of failure to appear and failure to pay fines, according to police.
