Woman sought in Albuquerque shooting

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities have arrested a man and are searching for a woman they say was involved in a shooting at a fast-food restaurant in Albuquerque.

Bernalillo County Sheriff’s officials say deputies were [auth] sent to a Sonic restaurant in the southwest part of the city Tuesday night and heard shots fired shortly after.

They say a vehicle then fled the scene and crashed just south of the eatery.

A man and woman fled the vehicle. Deputies located the male suspect, identified as 26-year-old Derric Montoya.

They say he’s being treated for a minor injury to his leg but is in custody.

The female suspect remains at large.

Authorities say the two suspects may be the same two people who allegedly took food from the restaurant last week without paying for it.
