Police: Man killed at Albuquerque shooting range

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Authorities say a man is dead after being shot in the chest at an Albuquerque shooting range.

Albuquerque police say officers were [auth] dispatched to the west side shooting range just before 5 p.m. Friday.

They say the man appeared to be dead at the scene and it’s still unclear if the shooting was intentional or accidental.

Police say the Office of Medical Investigators has been called and a thorough investigation is planned.

The name of the man hasn’t been released yet.

The shooting range is located off Atrisco Vista near Double Eagle Airport.
