Burglars steal $2,000 in guns, accessories

Roswell Police investigated the theft of more than $2,000 in firearms and accessories on Wednesday.

Police responded to a larceny report in the 2400 block of North Garden Avenue. The theft happened between March 11 and March 18, but was [auth] only reported yesterday, said Sabrina Morales, public information officer for the RPD.

More than $2,000 worth of firearms and accessories were reported stolen, but of that total, only two actual weapons were stolen.


Trampoline taken

Roswell Police also investigated the theft of a trampoline, valued at $200, in the 1000 block of Brown Street on Wednesday.


Skate Park taggers sought

City of Roswell employees reported graffiti at the city Skate Park on Wednesday. Damage is valued at approximately $150.


Thieves steal stereo, batteries

Police responded to a vehicle burglary on the 100 block of East Albuquerque Street on Wednesday. A window was busted out on the vehicle, valued at $300 worth of damage, and thieves took a stereo system and two vehicle batteries, items, which were valued at $900.
