Burglars steal $2,000 in guns, accessories

Roswell Police investigated the theft of more than $2,000 in firearms and accessories on Wednesday.

Police responded to a larceny report in the 2400 block of North Garden Avenue. The theft happened between March 11 and March 18, but was only reported yesterday, said Sabrina Morales, public information officer for the RPD.

More than $2,000 worth of firearms and accessories were reported stolen, but of that total, only two actual weapons were stolen.


Trampoline taken

Roswell Police also investigated the theft of a trampoline, valued at $200, in the 1000 block of Brown Street on Wednesday.


Skate Park taggers sought

City of Roswell employees reported graffiti at the city Skate Park on Wednesday. Damage is valued at approximately $150.


Thieves steal stereo, batteries

Police responded to a vehicle burglary on the 100 block of East Albuquerque Street on Wednesday. A window was busted out on the vehicle, valued at $300 worth of damage, and thieves took a stereo system and two vehicle batteries, items, which were valued at $900.
