We want to take this opportunity to thank our advocate for veterans, John Taylor, for his service to our country.
John is an honorable man and we need more like him.
We appreciate him and all others for helping to [auth] bring a cemetery for those that gave their lives for our freedom.
Now fo the living — a medical clinic — our veterans travel hundreds of miles to be treated. Many are crippled, in pain, terminally ill and need to see a doctor. Towns smaller than Roswell have health clinics for veterans.
Thanks again for your articles, John — Read your March 26th one and agree — our capitol and many that make their homes there have no common sense.
May I borrow a phrase from our book, “Savvy Sayings?”
“The future has been losing the wisdom of the past ever since the freeway bypassed the corral.”
