Police Blotter: Thieves make off with make-up

Roswell Police investigated the theft of $3,600 in cosmetics on Thursday.

An 18-year-old woman reported that $3,600 worth of assorted cosmetics was stolen from her 2002 Oldsmobile Alero, while it was parked in the 1000 block of Plaza Del Sol.


Man arrested on drug paraphernalia charge

Police were serving a warrant in the 1900 block of North Garden [auth] Avenue at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday for Peter Christopher Chavez, 28, of Roswell, when they discovered a black pottery bong and marijuana seeds in Chavez’s possession, according to a Roswell Police report.

Chavez was arrested in connection with a possession of drug paraphernalia charge, according to police.


Suspicious behavior gets man arrested

Police stopped a man on the corner of Deming and Main early Friday morning due to suspicious activity, according to a Roswell Police report. An investigation revealed a number of outstanding warrants on the man, and when he was being searched during the arrest, police say they discovered a glass pipe typically used for ingesting narcotics.

Justin Ray Deleon, 25, of Roswell, was arrested in connection with charges of possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to comply, and failure to pay fines and failure to appear.
