The J.O.Y. Writers will bring their 14th anniversary series of readings to a close at 2 p.m. on Sunday at the Roswell Museum and Art Center.
The public is invited to attend this free event, which will feature the work of the J.O.Y. Writers.
The reading will give the residents of Roswell a chance to hear and meet some of the most gifted writers in the community.
The group will offer its latest work, and featured readers include Amy Everitt, whose work includes speculative fiction; Barta Howse, whose work explores the mysteries of a murder; Carolyn Sidd, who will present her unique vision of Roswell in the early 20th century; Beverly Coots, who will share her fantastical fiction; Hedda Saltz, the group’s resident poet, will read from her new series; and Steve Shaw and Rachel Thyrion will join in with their new work.
The J.O.Y. Writers meet weekly at the J.O.Y. Center on North Montana. For more information, contact Eva McCollaum at 624-1376.
