Police Blotter: Welding leads valued at $3,000 stolen from vehicle

Burglary from a vehicle

An officer was dispatched to the 3000 block of North Main Street Wednesday morning in response to burglary from a vehicle. Welding leads valued at $3,000 had been stolen.

 

Larceny from motor vehicle

• An officer was dispatched to Cedar Drive just after noon Wednesday in response to larceny from a vehicle. A [auth] variety of tools, including a knife, several types of pliers and a truck bed tool box, were taken. The value given to the stolen items totaled $604.

• An officer was dispatched to the 400 block of South Sequoia Avenue Wednesday morning in response to an air compressor being stolen from the back of a pickup truck. The value of the compressor was estimated at $200.

 

Shoplifting

• An officer responded to a report of shoplifting at Target early Wednesday afternoon. Two Samsung cell phones, valued at $349 each, were reported stolen.

• An officer was called to Walgreens on the 1800 block of North Main Street Thursday evening in response to a report of shoplifting. A Verizon cell phone valued at $79.99, $10 worth of condoms and a $20 package of razor blades were reported stolen.
