SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — Santa Fe police say a man sought in a stabbing attack on his wife has been found dead.
Police say 34-year-old Raymond Garcia committed suicide and was found late Tuesday at his former residence in Albuquerque.
He had been sought in the Monday afternoon stabbing of his wife in the parking lot of a Santa Fe supermarket.
According to police, he fled when she pushed the panic button on her car keys.
The wife is recovering from cuts to her throat and abdomen.
