Stephanie-BaezaStephanie Baeza was born on Nov. 17, 1973, in Hobbs, to Santos Sanchez and Balbina Hernandez Sanchez. Stephanie Baeza was a graduate from the Artesia High School in 1993, where she enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball and softball.

Stephanie Baeza met and married the love of her life, Aldolfo Baeza, on Oct. 21, 1995. They enjoyed 18 wonderful years and were blessed with a son, Fabian Baeza.

Stephanie Baeza was a homemaker. She [auth] loved to go on motorcycle rides, going on fishing trips with her family, spending time at the cabin and enjoyed hanging out with her grand-kids. Stephanie Baeza would light up the room with her smile and would make friends with anyone she met.

On Jan. 12, 2014, Stephanie Baeza was greeted by her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. After her fight with an illness on this Earth, she was welcomed home by her mother.

To mourn her passing, she leaves her three sons: Fabian Baeza, Aaron Baeza and Adrian Baeza, all of Hobbs; one daughter, Jennifer Jimenez, also of Hobbs; father, Santos Sanchez; a brother, Santos Sanchez Jr.; and two sisters: Sallie Nelson and Selma Alvarez.

Stephanie was preceded in death by her mother, Balbina Sanchez.

Memorial services for Mrs. Baeza will be held Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, 5p.m. at the Eternal Life Assembly of God, 119 N. Linam St., in Hobbs. Funeral services for Mrs. Baeza will follow on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2014, 10 a.m. at Calvary Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 418 W. Bender Blvd., in Hobbs, following burial at Prairie Haven Memorial Park. Services have been entrusted to Calvary Memorial Funeral Home in Hobbs.
