• Police were called to the 300 block of South Ohio Avenue, Tuesday, where a subject stole computer hardware and software, a birth certificate, a Social Security card, driver’s license, credit/debit card, plus $500, from a vehicle.

• Police responded to Vista Parkway, Tuesday, after a subject removed a Beltronics radio, Case pocket knife, Puma pocket knife with bone handle, heavy-duty bumper cables, some cash, a trailer plug, a pair of shooting sunglasses, Steiner binoculars and Kershaw pocket blade from a vehicle. The items were valued at $4,659.



Police went to the 800 block of East Berrendo Street, Monday, after a 73-year-old victim discovered three charges made to his bank card from Illinois and Carlsbad.


Breaking and entering

Police were dispatched to the 300 block of East Conner Street, Tuesday, where a subject took a window cage guard down from a building, damaging the stucco. Nothing was reported stolen.
