Police Blotter: Woman takes the cake — without paying beforehand

A 38-year-old woman was arrested, Sunday, after she left Albertson’s, 1110 S. Main St., carrying a birthday cake she had ordered without paying. She told officials that she thought her son had paid for it.



Police were called to Sunset Place, around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, after three men got [auth] into a fight. One was hit with a chair; one had a bloody nose and all three reportedly had bruises and scrapes.


Criminal damage

Police received a report from an employee of the Roswell Independent School District about DeBremond Stadium, 1010 N. Richardson Ave., Monday, where subjects cut the lock to obtain entry and then cut $200 worth of electrical wires. The incident took place sometime between Dec. 10, 2013, and Jan. 6. No copper was stolen.



Police were dispatched to the 700 block of West Tilden Street, Monday, after subjects removed $700 worth of lawn and garden supplies, a grill and miscellaneous hand tools. The last time the items were seen was Nov. 11, 2013.
