• The Roswell Police Department recovered a vehicle stolen from Ruidoso. The white Dodge 4X4 valued at $13,000 was located in the alley behind the 400 block of South Holland Avenue on Monday.
• Police were dispatched to Title Cash, 2801 N. Main St., Monday, after a subject took a motor vehicle from the parking lot.
• Police apprehended a 30-year-old woman at Albertsons, 1110 S. Main St., Monday, following a case of shoplifting. The subject took mascara, Redken Complex, Glade Decor deodorizer, wax melts, a lighter, a knife and attempted to leave without paying. All the items were recovered. In addition, the officer located methamphetamine with a street value of $200 and a glass smoking device.
• Police arrested 15 people on Christmas day.
Police responded to Options, 1005 W. McGaffey St., Monday, to take a report of battery after a 73-year-old woman, who was getting a ride from an employee, grabbed the steering wheel from the employee and then threw a pill bottle, hitting the 29-year-old in the right eye.
Police were called to Galaxy 8 Theaters, 4179 N. Main St., Monday, where a person passed a $100 counterfeit bill.
Police were dispatched to the 200 block of West Albuquerque Street, Wednesday, where subjects forced entry into a home and took $800 worth of cash. Damages to the door were estimated at $100.
