Police Blotter: Wheelchair ramp stolen from yard

• Police were dispatched to the 700 block of South Lea Avenue, Tuesday, after subjects removed an aluminum wheelchair ramp, valued at $500, from a yard.

• Police responded to the 1900 block of North Atkinson Avenue, Tuesday. The 36-year-old victim reported [auth] $5,000 worth of copper was stolen from a yard.

• Police were called to the 2300 block of Carver Drive, Tuesday, where a hammer-drill, a reciprocating saw, a shop saw and four spools of wire were removed from a Roswell Independent School District maintenance vehicle. The items were valued at $1,300.



Police responded to Roswell Livestock and Farm Supply, 1105 E. Second St., Tuesday. A representative of the company said that sometime between Dec. 5 and Dec. 17, someone stole a chain saw, valued at $959, from the store.
