Firefighters performed clean-up operations, pictured above, at a house in the 600 block of South Kentucky Avenue that was completely consumed by a blaze, pictured left, that began around 5 a.m. Tuesday.
According to fire officials on scene, the house appeared to be vacant. The house was not hooked up to any utilities, but it has been used by homeless people in the past as a place to sleep. No one was injured by the fire.
The residence qualified as a historic building and was valued at $100,000.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by the Roswell Fire Department.
