Police Blotter: Ford Taurus stolen

Police were called to the 200 block of West Deming Street, Tuesday, where a 1997 Ford Taurus was reported stolen.


Burglary / larceny

• Police went to the 1100 block of South Pennsylvania Avenue, Monday. The 71-year-old victim reported a washer and dryer, [auth] valued at $700. Officers noted that the water lines to the appliances had been cut.

• Police responded to the Sam’s Club parking lot, 4400 N. Main St., Tuesday, after a New Mexico license plate was removed from a 2009 Toyota Corolla.

• Police were dispatched to the corner of Garden Avenue and Deming Street, Tuesday, after subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and took a truck key, identification papers and bank cards.

• Police were called to the 1700 block of South Monroe, Tuesday, where subjects entered a vehicle and stole a wallet containing debit/credit cards and driver’s license.
