LOS ALAMOS, N.M. (AP) — Los Alamos National Laboratory is launching a new series of podcasts and webinars in an effort to reach a broader audience.
The series will focus on education, economic development and community giving.
Kurt Steinhaus is the director of the lab’s Community Programs Office. He says through these new channels, the lab hopes to increase the global audience for the work that Los Alamos’ partners perform and emphasize that northern New Mexico is a great place to live and work.
The initial podcast focuses on the Northern New Mexico 20/20 Campaign, a program spearheaded by the Regional Development Corporation that recognizes high growth businesses in the region.
Officials say the podcasts will be archived online at SoundCloud and Blog Talk Radio. In the future, they’ll be available on iTunes.
