LAGUNA PUEBLO, N.M. (AP) — Federal and state authorities are investigating an officer-involved shooting at Laguna Pueblo.
FBI spokesman Frank Fisher says Laguna tribal police responded to a domestic violence call at the pueblo Friday night. After they arrived, a man fired a shotgun and an officer’s leg was grazed.
The officer returned fire, hitting the man.
Fisher says the man’s injury does not appear to be life-threatening.
Authorities did not release the names of the man or the officer.
