She is preceded in death by her parents, Catarino and Luisa Parras; her husband, Daniel [auth] F. Juarez; daughter, Rebecca “Becky” Cuellar; brother, Manuel Gonzales, of Bakersfield, Calif.; sister, Magdalena P. Macks, and nephew, Tony J. Macks, both of Roswell.
Belen was born on Sept. 14, 1925. In 1947, she met Daniel F. Juarez. One year later, they were married. Together, they shared 64 years of marriage.
Belen’s life was her family and her family was her life. Sixty-four years of marriage proved her devotion to her husband and children. She set an example for all of us to follow.
Those left to cherish Belen’s memory are her three sons and their spouses: Daniel F. Juarez (Shirley), Benito Daniel Juarez (Toni), Jaime Daniel Juarez (Viola), and daughter Lisa M. Juarez, all of San Antonio, Texas; nephew, Alvin Macks (Brenda), of Roswell; 12 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren, all of San Antonio; one great-nephew, Dominic Macks; and two great-nieces: Marian and Jasmine Macks.
Each of us have our fond and special memories of Belen that will last us our lifetime. She was such a blessing to each and every one of us.
UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
I miss you more than I thought I could.
And I cried much more that I thought
I would. Time heals all… That’s what
They say! But love’s the price… And
So I pay. Sometimes, I smile… I know
You’re near. It’s not enough. You are not
Here. The years roll by, I’m not the same.
And in my heart, You will remain. You
Left with LOVE, when you flew away…
And a piece of me, went with you that day.
