Memorial service will be held for Leslie Marie Earnest, 50, of Roswell, Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Anderson- Bethany Funeral Home Chapel with Pas tor Doug Mills of First United Methodist Church officiating. Leslie passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at her home.
Leslie was born Jan. 24, 1963, in Artesia to Edwin Wilson Halpain and Freda Halpain. Leslie loved football and her Pittsburgh Steelers, loved to fish and sew; her main focus was her children and grandchildren and anything they were interested in. She loved her animals, dogs and cats; she loved Black Hills Gold, and her favorite flowers were purple roses and fire and ice roses.
Leslie is survived by her husband, Mark Earnest; her mother, Freda Halpain; daughter, Emilea Earnest; son, Brandon Halpain; brothers: Tony Halpain and wife, Tammy; Tim Halpain and wife, Debbie; sisters: Judy Bayliss and husband, Mark, Deidre Halpain; and grandkids: Ezekiel Halpain, Olivia Halpain, K’leigh Halpain and Abree Giacco, numerous nieces and nephews.
Leslie was preceded in death by her father, Edwin Halpain.
