Waterline Project to Continue through Winter

November 15, 2013 • Local News

The City of Roswell Water Department has begun replacing water[auth] lines from the 1930s.

The construction will consist of 8-inch diameter lines on the east side along North Union Avenue, and 12-inch lines on the west side. The construction will be from College Boulevard to 8th Street, from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. daily.

The waterlines will provide better quality and service, according to a press release from the City of Roswell Engineering Department. While construction continues — and it is expected to last all winter — the streets will be limited to one lane in each direction.

If you have any further questions about or during the construction project, call the City of Roswell Water Department at 624-6730.
