Graveside services will be held for James “Jim” Groseclose, 58, of Roswell, at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, 2013, at South Park Cemetery with officiating Pastor Jack Ferguson of Tinnie Baptist Church of Tinnie. He passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 12, 2013. Visitation will be on Sunday, Nov. 17, 2013, from 1 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
James was born July 18, 1955, to Charles Groseclose and Donna England Groseclose in Roswell.
James was a truck driver for 35 years. He loved his family and friends with all his heart. He enjoyed and was very talented at playing the guitar, hunting, fishing and watching football — The Saints — and working on model airplanes. He always tried to make his brother-in-law laugh and his brother-in-law always made him laugh.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Groseclose, of Roswell; his son, Cale James Groseclose and his wife, Rachelle, of Loveland, Colo.; his daughter, Amanda Christine Groseclose, of Ft. Collins, Colo.; his siblings: Carol Jane Groseclose and Julie Ann Ferguson, of Roswell; his brother, Jack Ferguson, of Roswell; his three grandsons: Adam, Joe and Derrick; numerous nieces and nephews that were very close to him and they are: Charles Brian Groseclose, Jack E. Ferguson, Chris Ferguson and his wife, Christina, Keisha Prince and her husband, Jeff, Colby, Aubrey and Sierra, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his son, Michael Gene Groseclose; his father, Charles Groseclose; and his grandparents.
