A rosary is scheduled for 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 1, 2013, at Ballard Chapel for Domenica Woloscsuk, 95, who passed away on Monday, Oct. 28, 2013, in Alamogordo. Funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 2, 2013, at St. Peter Catholic [auth] Church. Father Charlie Martinez of St. Peter Catholic Church will be officiating with burial to follow at South Park Cemetery.
Domenica was born Feb. 4, 1918, in New York City to Peter Taormina and Josephine Monaco. Her parents preceded her in death. She also is preceded in death by her sisters: Connie, Anna and Rose; and brothers: Frank, Pat, James and Dominick. Domenica married Peter Woloscsuk on Nov. 6, 1938, at Our Lady of Peace in New York City; he also preceded her in death.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Charles P. Woloscsuk, and wife, Susan, of Timberon; two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren.
Domenica moved to Roswell in August 1975. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. Domenica will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
