Santa Fe man arrested after meth lab found in home

SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — A Santa Fe man is jailed without bond after authorities say they found a suspected methamphetamine lab at his home.

Santa Fe police say they were [auth] serving a heroin-related search warrant on the home about 1 p.m. Thursday.

Officers say they spotted a non-operational meth lab in the house and the presence of chemicals commonly used to make the drug.

Police say they also recovered drug paraphernalia associated with heroin and meth use.

Authorities say 42-year-old Jonathon Kimbrough was taken into custody on a failure to comply warrant from a different case.

Police say charges are pending against Kimbrough in the suspected meth lab case.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney yet.
