Writer Gustavo Arellano to speak at NM museum

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Noted author and humorist Gustavo Arellano (ah-reh-YAH-NOH) is scheduled is speak at a closing reception on Latino artists in Albuquerque.

The [auth] “Ask a Mexican” columnist is set to talk Thursday at the Albuquerque Museum of Art and History for an event on the Estampas de la Raza: Contemporary Prints from the Romo Collection.

The exhibit featured 60 prints by Latino artists.

Arellano is the author of “Taco USA: How Mexican Food Conquered America” and currently the editor of OC Weekly, an alternative newspaper in Orange County, Calif.
