“Memories in our Hearts”

Thinking of the memories, it makes me so sad,
There is nothing we can do, God wanted our dad.
The time has come to let him go,
Our Dad, our friend, we love you so!!!
Your memory will live on
Deep in our hearts, our family is strong
And we will never part.
Last night, I cried so hard by your bed,
It can’t be true, were the thoughts in my head.
Then Mom came in as strong as can be,
And said, Mijo, it’s gonna be ok,
As she put her arms around me.
She told me you said, I have a big heart,
And would keep his family together,
He knew in his heart. You said you were proud of me,
And that my life was complete, with the blessing
Of my daughter, you stood here to meet
Memories of Papo will be told, time after time,
I wish we had the chance to do it all one more time.
We love you Dad!
