Police Blotter: Rims, pump and bicycle stolen after forced entry

• Police responded to the 200 block of East Summit Street, Tuesday, where subjects pried open a gate, forced entry into a shed and removed Roadster rims, a hydraulic pump, and a lowrider bicycle. The items were valued at $2,900.

• Police were dispatched to UPS, 715 South Atkinson Ave., Tuesday. A representative of the [auth] company reported a cash register and cash missing. The losses were estimated at $315. There were no signs of forced entry.

• Police were called to East Wells Street, Tuesday, after subjects entered a residence, and took $5 worth of copper. In addition, they caused $960 worth of damages to the fuse box, hot water heater and door window glass and broke 24 windows.

• Police were sent to the 500 block of West Hobbs Street, Tuesday. The victim said she had left merchandise on a table on Saturday, when she returned on Monday, more than $21,000 worth of jewelry and precious metals contained within the bag were missing.



• Police were dispatched to 3000 block of Encanto Drive, Tuesday, when subjects stole a weight set, valued at $280, stored in a carport.
