Audrey [auth] was born December 29, 1917, in Clovis, New Mexico, the eighth of 11 children to Thomas Earl and Leola (Rozzell) Wright. She was raised on a farm by devout Christian parents who taught their children about the love of God and family. After graduating from Clovis High School, Audrey married James Gleason Wood, who was killed in Germany during WWII.
In 1946, Audrey met Morris H. Snow and they were married on June 12, 1948, in Clovis, NM. Audrey and Morris made their home in Roswell, where Audrey was a cherished wife and mother. Together, they raised sons Stephen and James. Audrey was an active member of the Church of Christ, where she made many treasured friends. Audrey’s passions in life were taking care of her family, gardening and baking. Family and friends were always welcome for a good meal, a great dessert, usually a homemade pie and witty conversation. In 2004, Audrey and Morris moved to California, where James and family were thankful to have them so near.
Audrey is survived by her sons: Stephen Snow and his wife, Judy, of Parker, KS, and James Snow and his wife, Mary, of Westminster, CA; grandchildren: Stephen Snow Jr., Michael Price, Matthew Snow and Stephanie Snow; and sister Ruby Mallet, of Arlington, TX
