Mr. Pearce: You have been in office for 10 years. Wh[auth] at have you done for the people in your CD 2? I’ve been trying to find something helpful. Maybe I haven’t looked in the right place.
I do know that you are a proud member of the Tea Party Caucus, because you said so at a town hall meeting I attended.
Mr. Pearce, Your party wants to cut Social Security benefits and take away some money from folks who don’t have quite enough now.
Your party wants to take away funding from SNAP programs that feed children, whose parents don’t make enough money at their jobs.
Your party wants to keep some legal citizens from voting, because they just might vote against you.
Your party doesn’t want the undocumented immigrants to have a pathway to citizenship, when they could be a huge voter pool.
Your party doesn’t want to get the minimum wage raised, because this will keep people poor, and your party thinks they can be better controlled that way.
Your party has been responsible for the worst recession in this country since the Great Depression of the 1930’s.
All of this, sir, is merely my own humble opinion, but I wonder how many others in CD 2 would agree with me?
