• Police were called to the 900 block of North Orchard Avenue, Friday, where the victim reported a Black and Decker jigsaw, a Craftsman cordless drill, a Ryobi 9.6 volt power drill, a Black and Decker 14 volt power drill, a Craftsman tool kit, fishing rod and tackle boxes, some DVDs and a 50 piece silver set stolen. The victim estimated the value of missing items at $8,005.
• Police received a walk-in report of theft that occurred at the Holiday Inn Express parking lot, 2300 N. Main St., Friday. The victim told officials that a UT meter, a cordless drill, a socket set, a power cable, pipe fittings, gas monitors, a voltmeter and a ratcheting come-along had been taken from a tool chest. The items were valued at $5,065.
• Police responded to Alien Zone, 216 N. Main St., Friday, after subjects broke through a door, causing $300 worth of damages and removed an undisclosed amount money from the donation jar and from a cash register. The police recovered $125 in cash.
• Police were called to the 400 block of South Kansas Avenue, Friday, where subjects smashed a window and removed $30 worth of cash from a vehicle. The damages were assessed at $150.
Police were called to the 100 block of West Walnut Street, Friday, where an electric meter, valued at $150, was damaged when $30 worth of copper was stripped from the device.
Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Vista Parkway, Friday, where subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and attempted to steal it. The victim reported that something had broken off inside the ignition.
