2 southern New Mexico men die in ATV crash

WHITE OAKS, N.M. (AP) — State police say two men driving all-terrain vehicles in southern New Mexico have died [auth] after the vehicles collided.

Authorities say alcohol likely was involved in the collision early Saturday morning near White Oaks. Toxicology tests are pending.

State police say 49-year-old Grant Dean of Capitan and 53-year-old William Huband of Ruidoso were approaching each other from opposite directions on the vehicles when they collided.
