Police Blotter: Running vehicle stolen

Auto theft
Police were dispatched to the 500 block of South Beech Avenue, Sunday, after a woman left a vehicle running and entered her home. When she went outside, she found both the rider and vehicle gone. The Ford Expedition, which had a number of modifications and improvements, was valued at [auth] $7,500.

Police were called to the 300 block of East Ballard Street, Sunday, where a male subject ripped open a door and stole $600 worth of women’s and girls’ clothing.

Criminal damage
• Police were dispatched to the Washington Avenue Fellowship, 1400 N. Washington, Sunday, after subjects broke out a window. Replacement costs were estimated at $100.

• Police responded to the New Mexico Rehabilitation Center, 78 Gail Harris Street, Sunday, to take a report of criminal damage at the abandoned Rehabilitation Center, at 31 Gail Harris. A representative of the NMRC said a door had been damaged when someone attempted to gain access to the building. Police found a wrench and a socket wrench at the scene.
