LOS LUNAS, N.M. (AP) — Los Lunas police say they’ve arrested a woman in the stabbing death of a man in what’s being called a domestic dispute.

Police Chief Roy [auth] Melnick says 45-year-old Keith Miller was found lying on the ground and bleeding from the stomach.

He died at a hospital after being found Thursday evening.

Melnick says police arrested 49-year-old Tammy Lynn Tafoya after an investigation indicated that she and Miller were involved in a domestic dispute in an abandoned house.

Tafoya was arrested at her mother’s nearby home where Melnick says police seized evidence that included the knife used in the killing.

It’s not immediately clear whether Tafoya has an attorney.
