Breaking and entering
Police were called to the 300 block of Keith Street, Tuesday, where subjects pried open a vacant home, causing $1,000 worth of damage.

Police were dispatched to the 600 block of Woody Drive, Tuesday. Subjects entered a vacant rental property and removed a hot water heater and an air conditioning unit.
The losses were assessed at [auth] $634.

• Police responded to Villa Del Rey, 2901 N. Kentucky Ave., Tuesday, after items belonging to a deceased individual started to go missing.
The facility manager reported that during the months of June and July, a Hitachi 40-inch television, an Apple iPad, two comforters and a pocket watch had been removed. The items were valued at $715.
• Police were dispatched to the 2700 block of Onate Road, Tuesday, where a Regency 1911 series 45 caliber handgun and a Polo golf shirt were stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Stolen vehicle
Police were sent to the 600 block of North Wyoming Avenue, Tuesday. The victim reported a 2000 red Mazda, valued at $5,000, stolen.

Criminal damage
Police were called to Missouri Avenue Elementary School, Tuesday, where officers discovered four children hanging around the school grounds. The children admitted to officials that they damaged a sign.
