Police Blotter: Crucifix, DVD player stolen

•Police received a walk-in report, Monday, after subjects gained entry to a residence and removed a gold crucifix, a Samsung DVD player, six pairs of men’s Nike shoes, one pair of women’s shoes and Century Link modem. The missing items were valued at $1,230.
•Police were dispatched to the 800 block West Mathews Street, Monday, after subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and took cash, registration papers, [auth] keys with a fob and three pairs of sunglasses.
•Police were called to the 600 block of West Walnut Street, Monday, where someone got into an unlocked vehicle and stole a Taurus 45 caliber.
•Police were dispatched to the 900 block of Davidson Drive, Monday. The subjects entered an unlocked vehicle and removed paperwork, jewelry and a rosary.

Identity theft
Police were called to the 200 block of East McCune, Monday. The victim discovered that someone had started a credit card, using his name and identification, after he received a bill for over $700.

Police responded to Mason Drive, Monday, to take a report of an attack. The incident occurred in the 800 block of West Deming Street. Officers noted the victim’s face was covered in blood. The victim refused medical treatment.

Police were called to the Rodeway Inn, 2803 W. Second St., after visitors left their room and discovered, when they returned, that a wallet along with cash had been stolen.
