Criminal damage
The police did not have to travel far to obtain a report when they found the “anarchy symbol” — a circle with an A in it — painted on the outside of the police station. The incident took place Monday night.

• Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of North Kansas Avenue, Monday, after someone entered a home while the resident was sleeping, stole some cash and painted the refrigerator red. Later, the victim learned [auth] that his truck had been taken out for a joy ride when he spoke with a friend who mentioned that he had seen his vehicle. The victim stated that he had not been at the reported location. The vehicle had already been returned.
• Police responded to the 300 block of Hermosa Drive, Monday, where subjects gained access to a residence and removed a flat-screen television, valued at $400, and a gun safe containing guns, with an estimated value of $1,000.

• Police were called to Roswell Recycling Monday, after two subjects, one male and one female, were seen stealing five metal drain covers from Wilshire Garden Apartments, 2727 N. Wilshire Blvd. The maintenance man from the apartment complex followed the subjects to the recycling center where they reportedly sold three of the covers. Each cover was valued at $100. The man and the woman were arrested.
• Police responded to Nesselrodt Heating, 309 N. Virginia Ave., where a tailgate, valued at $1,200, was removed from a truck.

Police were dispatched to Allsups, 520 E. Second St., after a male subject reportedly punched another man in the face. The subject was arrested on charges of battery and criminal trespass.
