Police Blotter: Police deal with multiple thefts

• Police were called to the 400 block of East Fourth Street, Wednesday, after subjects gained entry to a residence by forcing a door open. The victim reported that a Sony Playstation 3 console and controller, along with some Playstation games were stolen. The items were [auth] valued at $460. Repair costs to the door and frame were estimated at $300.
• Police were dispatched to the 3200 block of Delcado Drive, Wednesday, after a subject entered a vehicle and removed a Baretta handgun, valued at $375.
• Police were called to the 900 block of West 14th Street, Wednesday, where subjects caused damage to a vehicle by removing the faceplate to gain access to the stereo. The subjects also took a television and a VCR.
• Police responded to an alarm call at Kentucky Fried Chicken, 2423 N. Main St., Wednesday, where subjects broke out a window. Nothing was reported stolen.
