Graveside services will be held for Jarard “Jack” Earl Adams, 73, of Roswell, at 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 26, 2013, at South Park Cemetery with Don Johnson officiating. Jack passed away on Thursday, June 20, 2013.
Jack was born Nov. 1, 1939, to Thomas Adams and Maggie Huffmon Adams in Roswell. They preceded him in death along with four brothers and two sisters.
He loved to dance, was a prankster and loved children. He retired from the City of Roswell Fire Department after 24 years of service. He served in the United States Navy as the aircraft crew chief on the USS Midway. He was generous to a fault, an artist and an avid guitar picker. He was also a very good cabinet maker, loved to go to the mountains and was well loved by everyone who knew him.
Jack is survived by his sons, Thomas Adams, of Roswell, and John Adams, of Rock Hill, S.C.; his brother, John Adams, of Roswell; four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren with one on the way and numerous friends.
