ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — Two Cibola County men have pleaded guilty to federal methamphetamine trafficking charges.

Prosecutors say 24-year-old Anthony Lusk, [auth] of San Rafael, and 26-year-old Peter Valdez, of Grants, entered into plea agreements Thursday.

They both were arrested in March on a federal indictment charging them with conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine and distribution of meth.

Prosecutors say Lusk and Valdez admitted to selling three ounces of methamphetamine to a person who turned out to be an undercover officer for more than $4,000 last October.

They say Lusk and Valdez both face up to life in prison when they’re sentenced at a later date.
