Police Blotter: Aaron’s burglarized over weekend

• Police responded to an alarm call from Aaron’s, 2801 N. Main St., Sunday. Officers discovered the doors were unsecured and items missing, including two 39-inch JVC television sets valued at $749.99.
• Police were called to a burglary in progress, Friday, in the 600 block of [auth] South Aspen Avenue. The subjects gained entry through a door causing $100 worth of damage. A 40-caliber Taurus handgun, valued at $400, was reported stolen.

Police were dispatched to the 1500 block of South Cottonwood Drive, Friday, where the copper leads to a welder were cut from.

Criminal damage
Police responded to the 400 block of North Kansas Avenue, Saturday. The victim reported that he realized that he was having problems with his brakes as he was driving. When he arrived at his residence, he realized that his brake lines had been damaged, apparently cut. The investigation confirmed that the break lines had been partially cut.
