The New Mexico Broadband Program Train-the-Trainer Project will provide a free workshop for trainers of computer and Internet skills Thursday beginning at 9 a.m. at the Roswell Public Library, 301 N. Pennsylvania Ave.
This session will offer instruction on how to best deliver training to adult learners in technical areas such as using a computer, searching on the Internet, creating a Facebook page, or using social media for business marketing and personal communication.
The workshop will also provide free instructional materials for all participating trainers, which include curriculum presentations, speaking notes, handouts, and exercises, all of which can be used by participants in their own future training or tutoring sessions.
In addition, participants will be eligible for follow-up support from the New Mexico Broadband Program Train-the-Trainer Project in the form of conferencing sessions and ongoing curriculum development.
The class runs until 4 p.m., with a one-hour lunch break. For more information or to register for the workshop, contact Eva Artschwager at 505-660-3434 or email email@example.com.
