Audio Acoustics Hearing Center, Inc. has been a part of the Roswell community for over 30 years. Recently, Dr. Kate Hengstenberg, a name very familiar to the Roswell community, announced her retirement from Audio Acoustics. When asked about her retirement, Dr. Hegstenberg commented, “It is difficult to imagine my life without ears to test, hearing aids to fix, or lives to change through better hearing. I will look back on my years here with fond memories.  There will be so much of Roswell that I will miss – our winter sunrise, the aroma of green chilies [auth] roasting across town, our brilliant night sky, the smell of the feedlots that has become so familiar, almost a comforting reminder of the goodness of Roswell and its hard working people. I will miss my 111 year old house, a Roswell treasure, with all its cracks and character and the thousands of cranes and Canada geese that fly over each winter honking their way south to warmer climates. I am indebted to so many of you who have challenged me, befriended me, taught me new skills, passed on a good book, included me in your circle, trusted me with your hearing, and celebrated with me. Friends and colleagues, patients and neighbors….. you have been my community. To everyone whose path I have crossed, you have made a difference and I thank you.”

“As my retirement approaches, I want to take the opportunity to express appreciation to you who have made my years here so meaningful. With gratitude, I leave a thriving audiology practice that will serve our community for years to come. Audio Acoustics Hearing Center in Roswell has attracted some of the finest young professionals and I have valued my association with them. I know you will support them as you did me as they continue to serve our community. Dr. Angelica Gonzalez-Rodriguez, the new Director of Audiology, and Mrs. Jessie Payne, the Director of Operations, are committed to the highest standard of hearing care.  Roswell’s ears are in good hands.”

Dr. Gonzalez-Rodriguez, a native of Roswell, has been with the practice for just under two years. She has already been involved with the community hosting informative seminars and participating in vendor expos. Mrs. Payne has been with the practice for five years and is heavily involved in the local schools and the hearing health for those children. She has also become a very familiar name with Audio Acoustic patients by providing superior hearing health care to them and their friends and family members. Both Dr. Gonzalez-Rodriguez and Mrs. Payne look forward to continuing to provide professional hearing care for all current and future patients of Audio Acoustics Hearing Center. If you or someone you know asks for repetition, has to turn the TV up too loud, or experiences difficulty on the phone, call 623-8474 today for a hearing checkup.  Audio Acoustics Hearing Center, Inc. is located at 1000 W. 4th street across from Cahoon Park.
